This plate is not microwave or dishwasher safe due to the gold luster (which is real gold) Gently hand wash and this gleaming treasure will stay glistening for a life time. 

All glazes on this plate are food safe, but I do recommend avoiding the use of cutlery on it to preserve the quality of the lusters.
